The 2018-2019 season of meetings of the Merseyside Railway History Group begins on September the 27th 2018.

The programme is below.

Everybody is welcome to attend - there is no charge made for guests.
We meet at the United Reform Church Hall on Meols Drive, West Kirby, Wirral and
proceedings commence at 7.45 pm

Join us for our first evening meeting on the 27th September with renowned railway photographer Les Nixon.
This pictorial presentation covers everything from steam, diesel and electric trains to snapshots of the steam preservation scene.
Les has visited over 50 countries in pursuit of his hobby, such as South Africa, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Peru and China to name but a few.
You’ll not only see the pictures but hear the interesting stories behind how many of them were taken, in places well off the beaten track.
This is a great opportunity to indulge in an evening of transport nostalgia and to see some amazing photographs – we look forward to seeing you there.
